Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am an enthusiastic second-grade teacher dedicated to fostering a love of reading in all my students. In our classroom, we believe that every child deserves access to a world of knowledge and imagination that only books can provide. Unfortunately, many of our students come from homes with limited access to books, and our school's resources are often stretched thin.

This project aims to bring a diverse and enriching selection of literature into our classroom, exposing our students to a variety of genres, cultures, and experiences through the pages of captivating stories and informative books.

By funding this project, you will help open doors to new worlds for our students, enhancing their literacy skills, broadening their perspectives, and igniting a lifelong passion for reading.

Our goal is to create a vibrant classroom library that not only supports our curriculum but also encourages students to explore books freely, fostering independent reading and critical thinking. Your generous donation will directly impact our young learners, providing them with the tools they need to succeed in school and beyond.
