My Students

Motivating boys to read can sometimes be hard! The books that I chose appeal to a range of "boy" interests. My goal is to get them reading and loving it!

Our second grade class has 25 students.

We are in Illinois in a diverse community. Reading, reading, reading is the most important way to become a better reader. The boys in my class are interested in vehicles, sports, and animals. They enjoy nonfiction.

My Project

Reading is the pathway to all learning! To encourage and motivate all of my students, my library needs to have materials that appeal to a wide variety of interests. My project will engage students who like to read about vehicles, animals, and sports.
