My Project

My favorite time of the day is storytime. This is a time for us all to stop what we are doing and enjoy a good story. The kids slow down and listen, or if I have enough copies, they follow along as I read aloud. There is no assignment to complete afterwards. We simply enjoy the story, and sometimes, we go ahead and read one more chapter! Recently, we received a new bookshelf and we are so ready to fill it with all kinds of books!

From chapter books to graphics novels to picture books- all of the books I'm requesting have been chosen by my third graders.

They are so excited for this project! Thank you for helping me bring a love of reading to my classroom.
