Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These books will be a fantastic addition to my classroom library. They will be used for book clubs- a time when students vote on a book to read and then meet with a group of 5 students to discuss the chapters. By the end of the school year, students should have a chance to read all of these books because the book clubs rotate. These are classic books that I know my students will love! These books will enrich the book club experience for my 5th-graders and create a great opportunity for students to have meaningful discussions on novels.

My students already began book club this year but I am eager to add these new stories to my classroom library because they are classic stories that I know will help my students continue to build a love for reading.
