This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am new to teaching in California and am working from near 0 books. The kids are eager to read and have given me a list of all the books that interest them and the topics that they want to read more about. I want to use this to build my library with various topics of books for them.

My goal is to continually build my bilingual library for them to use for years to come.

My kids are very motivated and are always asking when the books will come. I hope to keep promoting their desire to learn by having books of interest.
