Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These books are necessary in our library because they are diverse and mirror the beautiful diversity of our student population. We need books which act like mirrors and let students see themselves represented in our library.

When we have books which represent students, they feel seen, safe, and included.

This is important not only for their social-emotional health, but also for their academic growth. By donating and helping these books get into our library, you will be giving students a wonderful gift. Literacy and equity for all should be the goal of every library.
