Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our 3rd grade students are eager learners, and having a diverse and engaging classroom library is key to nurturing their love for reading. By funding new library books, this project will provide access to a variety of genres, from exciting adventure stories to inspiring non-fiction texts. These books will encourage students to explore different topics, improve reading skills, and develop a deeper understanding of the world around them.

The goal of this project is to foster a passion for reading while supporting literacy growth.

With these new books, students will be more motivated to read both independently and in groups, which will help enhance their comprehension, vocabulary, and critical thinking. Our students are special because they come from diverse backgrounds and have a strong sense of curiosity. The right books will allow them to connect with characters and stories that reflect their experiences and broaden their horizons.
