My Project

These books provide the foundation upon which we build our classroom culture. Our classroom is linguistically,culturally, and economically diverse. Students speak Arabic, Chaldean, Pashto, Spanish, Swahili, Farsi and more! For some, this will be the first time they have been to school. This year there will be 25 students whose families come from all over the world.

We build our common values through the stories we read and the laughter we share.

These are the perfect books to delight young readers and welcome them to a community of learners. These books teach us that we are unique, we make mistakes, we have feelings, and most importantly, that we are better together.
