My Students

We are a pre-k to Grade 5 school in Brooklyn, New York. I currently work as a full remote 2nd grade teacher. We now live in an extremely diverse, globalized, and complex, media-saturated society. My students are bright 21st century learners. We are trying our best to help guide these students! Our students are culturally, socioeconomically, and academically diverse. Won't you help us meet our goal?

My Project

My class is a full remote 2nd grade. We are in our Google Classroom and Google Meets so much during the day.

Many of the students left in March without taking any books to read at home!

I would like to have a book club with activities using the Flat Stanley Book included in this home package. I am hoping to send a few books, a Mad Libs activity pad & some sight word Flash cards home for the students to physically have in their hands to allow my students time to read actual books...to unplug off the devices.
