Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are working very hard to learn how to read or continue to learn new reading skills this year. We will use these books to add to our classroom library. I want my students to have access to books that they are able to read in the classroom.

The donations to this project will help my students feel successful at reading independently.

By having books with sight words we are learning and that are on their reading level, they will be more motivated to read. I have chosen books that are of high interest to my students, so they will be engaged while reading. My goal is to foster a love of reading at a young age.
