Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am in the process of getting rid of old books that are lower level reading books and trying to replace them with books that are more appealing to my students. When I began my class library I just took any books any teacher gave me. There are some books that have not been checked out for some time and I will be donating to lower level teachers.
Therefore, I will need new books to fill our bookshelf. I added newer books that were recommended by students. Students took some time in class to research books they wanted to see in our class library.
