My Project

My students are inquisitive, excited learners! They come to school each day eager to learn something new and love to practice new skills. The most beneficial learning happens when they are engaged in their learning!

My students thrive with a curriculum that allows for hands-on, exciting activities that they enjoy!

Reading is such an important part of our day each day in Kindergarten. Lots of skills can be taught using books that the students love! I love reading to my students! I can use Read Alouds to teach skills such as comprehension, vocabulary, writing, phonics, and creativity! Help me provide my class with a school year's worth of storybooks as well as fun, engaging lessons and activities to go along with each story followed up with a craft centered around characters in the story. The lessons are geared toward each book and allow my students to dig deeper into the story all while having fun and keeping interested! We will use each book for a week, focusing on a different component in the story each day. This really gets the kids thinking!
