This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Teaching Pre-k is the most rewarding experience. My students are tiny people on a mission to learn. They are fun, exciting, curious, and are absorbing all kinds of knowledge about school and the world around them. As an educator I strive to ignite their curiosity and introduce them to the most wonderful experiences.

My students are beginning to enjoy series such as the "Knuffle Bunny", "Don't Let the Pigeon" and other Mo Willems books, just to name a few.

Their love for reading is beginning to shine through!

My Project

Books are an essential part of our classroom and every classroom no matter the grade level. Reading a book to a pre-k student captivates and ignites a sense of curiosity. Every child should be given the opportunity to experience this by having access to a colorful and vivid library full of wonderful books that will spark and nurture their minds and creativity. Some of my students do not have access to books at home and have no exposure to books other than at school. It is only right that schools have the adequate books and materials to support students learning.
