My Students

Second grade is such an amazing and dynamic time for students. We are just getting off the ground with reading and continue to further develop our literacy. We are a STEAM school, where students will be able to develop critical thinking skills through building and code.

My students are a loving group of 2nd Graders attending a Title I school in the heart of San Francisco.

Distance Learning and the COVID-19 Pandemic has brought about challenges with our STEAM classes. But, my kiddos are resilient students, who love to learn, and come to school every day...ready for any challenge!

My Project

Calling all Early Literacy supporters! Room 214 will be considering a return to in-person instruction soon. As we enter this new education world, we will need new Big Books, Library Books and Literacy materials to support our learning.

Big Books are incredibly useful in this new in-person environment!

We will use them for Shared Reading, which has not been accessible during Distance Learning. We will also need new library books that can be used individually and then cleaned off for all to use!

We also need some new Literacy Materials for our teacher, Mr. B! He wants to be the best Reading teacher he can be, and these will help him, which will help us!
