Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

For this project, we are requesting various books and plushies that match the books, including Pete the Cat, Smart Cookie, Dog Man, Bad Kitty, Harry Potter, and more. Most of our students struggling to read are second-language English Language Learners. They are just discovering their love for reading and their love of Pete. These books would be used by many students for years to come.

Who doesn't love Pete the Cat?

The plush characters would stay in the classroom to make the room library warm and welcoming. My students are learning how to read and these titles are books they have requested.
