My Project

We love quality, decodable books! Decodable books provide students an opportunity to put the phonic skills we are learning in class to use. Students can practice their decoding skills in incremental levels as we introduce new letters and sounds with this exciting series of books.

Authentic, decodable books provide successful and motivating first reading experiences for students.

These books are full of colorful, fun illustrations and meaningful, engaging stories. I hope to increase the amount of books in my classroom so that I can provide books for my students to take home for extra practice. I am also asking for durable take-home bags where students can store their books for safekeeping as they come to and from school. My hope is that through this series of books my students will become accurate, fluent, comprehensive, and joyful readers.
