My Students

Our students participate enthusiastically in class, ask questions, and express a desire to learn in and out of the classroom.

The students at our school are curious, active, and engaged learners.

Our students want to know more about their community and the world beyond them, so they can do more - in their community and in the world beyond them.

Our students have great plans to change the world!

My Project

Diverse books serve as windows and mirrors. Some books help a variety of students to look upon the experience of others (windows); some serve as validation of their own experiences (mirrors).

Current titles help to engage students and get them excited about reading.

The modern library is a constantly evolving collection and new books help to not only draw the readers in, but to keep them coming back for more.

Promoting diverse books communicates a message to the school community that diversity is valued and prized. Books foster this feeling within the building and beyond.
