Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These books will help my students make smart book choices. Developing readers need a vast collection of high quality books in a variety of genres, topics, reading levels and languages . In class, my students learn to choose "just right books" for them from the classroom's library . Every reader is different and has different interests that will captivate them. Having a wide variety of high interest books will increase my student's confidence, independence and sense of self as a reader and a person.

These books will enhance students interests in reading because they are a combination of fiction and nonfiction high quality books in English and Spanish.

My students are proud bilingual children and take and they are proud of being able to read and converse in both language with proficiency.
