This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Over the course of the year my students have been reading novels to enhance their reading and build on their fluency skills.

Even though our classroom library has a small selection of books that are not in the best condition the students have shown great interest in reading and have enjoyed sharing discussions in reading circles.

The reading circles have given my students the ability to be able to express themselves in an environment where everyone shares the same interest and have their own reading material that can be shared at home as well.
