My Project

These stories and books will be an interactive way for my students to learn a variety of language skills.

Students can practice receptive language skills by listening to the content of stories and then answering questions about the stories.

Receptive language is strengthened through activities like listening to stories, following prompts, and comprehending key details about events that took place. Expressive language is developed through retelling these stories and responding to related prompts. Pragmatic skills are targeted by analyzing a character’s actions and reactions in various social situations, followed by discussions about the appropriateness of those responses. Together, these skills empower students to thrive both academically and socially, fostering growth in and beyond the classroom!
