My Project

My plan for the Lunar New Year's celebration is to provide the Lunar New Year reading using books explaining about the Vietnamese, Chinese, and other's cultures and traditions. Afterward, the students will emerge in traditional and novelty games such as The Cat and Mouse or Big Dot of Happiness ( cootie catcher New Year game). The benefits of incorporating board games into the classroom are far-reaching especially during the Lunar New Year. These games provide opportunities for students to practice communication, collaboration, and strategic thinking—skills that are valuable both inside and outside of the classroom. Moreover, they encourage students to actively participate in their learning, increasing engagement and motivation.

Together, we can help them develop important skills that will set them up for success in the future, all while giving them an experience that will spark joy and a lifelong love of learning.
