My Project

My students are striving to become better readers. They work hard to overcome many obstacles, including missing many days of reading instruction due to Covid-19.

My students love having their own books at home!

They get to experience the love of reading and practice important skills, even if they are home sick.

Printer ink allows us to print clear pictures of the vocabulary words they are learning to help them understand the stories we read. Seeing examples of these things they may not have experienced personally due to Covid-19 closures expand their knowledge of the world.

Dry erase markers help several hundred students practice letter formation and writing skills with tools that can be easily sanitized between uses. Hands-on practice with special tools motivates students to persevere through academic challenges.
