Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are in fifth grade. They come from warm and caring families.

My students are eager and energetic learners that love to express themselves.

They love all aspects of schooling especially working in groups and hands-on learning. Together, with my students, we are looking forward to an exciting year.

My Project

For this project, I am trying to put engaging books into students hands. My goal is to help expand and build upon students' love for reading with the optimum goal of helping them improve academically.

I would like to put the Award-Winning TOON Graphics books directly into the hands of these students so that each of them has access and exposure to quality literature.

These books will be used during independent reading time as well as small group literature circles in order to provide students with the opportunity to gain practice in literature dialogue with their peers.
