My Project

My classroom is filled with a diverse population of kids who are working hard at improving their reading levels and reading abilities. Most of my students are English language learners and need exposure to vocabulary that can be found in different genres of books, which include graphic novels, adventures and fantasy.

I would like to provide my students with new books that are popular with kids their age, so they can discuss and recommend books to each other.

They can't wait for me to replenish the classroom library with new and exciting series, filled with adventures, mysteries, and laughter.

They can use pencils or dry erase markers and pouches to jot down new words they have learned or use context clues to figure them out. Then they can share their new knowledge with their partners during our share out time and teach each other.
