Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The holiday season is the perfect time to refresh my classroom library and excite my kids to pick a new book, maybe even one outside their comfort zone. Kids love the feel, smell and colors of brand new books. There is always excitement when I refresh my library. We worked so hard to foster the love of reading last year that my old students are coming back looking for new books. I can only do that with your help. I will add these books into my library to bring diversity and social issues and meet them at their level interest. For the ones that aren't ready yet to love a book, earphones will let the book come to life on audio for them.
