Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students must keep up with the latest advancements in education to spark an interest in literature with the integration of the arts. Education is changing every single day as we enhance through technology and current events. Just as equally evolving are the interests of my students in our ever changing society. Students in my classroom like to explore reading through the lens of marginalized groups and lesser talked about cultures.
They are to write original stories using creative writing techniques and artistry.
These stories will be printed in color and passed around for peer review. A high quality printer, ink and paper will allow their projects to be printed and handed out to their peers. We will later use the supplies to print out a class newspaper and invite families to participate in the learning process.
