Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

At our CES Library we encourage students to continue reading their library books by providing them with bookmarks that will encourage them to move on forward in their reading. Our goal for this project is to service as a motivator of continued reading growth and provide the motivation that students need to continue in their reading journey.

We service around 643 students in a Title 1 campus and our strong community encourages growth in our students by noting the importance of reading through all subject areas.

Our students love getting a new bookmark every time they visit our library after book check out and we would love to continue in this tradition. The vivid colors and wording displayed in each bookmark is an excellent way to enlighten our students to continue reading their books. We would appreciate all contributions going towards this amazing project and look forward to your donation.
