Hello! My name is Shauntay Frazier-Hall, and I am a 4th-grade English Language Arts and Social Studies teacher to a spirited and curious group of students. I am excited to create this classroom library project to inspire my students to keep reading long after Reading Month ends.
The books I am requesting have been carefully selected with input from my students themselves.
Each title was chosen to reflect the diverse experiences and interests of my little readers, with the goal of making reading feel personal and meaningful to them. These books will help spark their imaginations, deepen their understanding of different cultures, and encourage a lifelong love of reading.
By providing my students with a variety of books, we can create a classroom environment where they feel seen, heard, and valued. It will help them not only develop their literacy skills but also build empathy and a broader understanding of the world around them. I want them to see themselves in the stories they read and be inspired by characters from different walks of life.
My students are special because they are full of energy, curiosity, and a desire to learn. They are eager to dive into new adventures through the pages of a book and expand their horizons.
