My Project

The Rewards of Reading. Our class is looking to turn a quiet corner into a great reading Book Nook! We are hoping for some cozy chairs and a rug so students will have an incentive to read. We are also hoping for a book light and some shelves to display our favorite book series and authors.

This project will also bring some additional support and display needs to our classroom to help with our reading lessons so we can get the most out of our reading.

Laminate pockets for reading support, a display board for our anchor charts and to make a waiting list for who gets to sit there. Plus, Mrs Afflitto needs some paper to make things for us!

This will be the spot all students will want to get to visit and enjoy. The smallest changes can have the greatest impact, even if made to a quiet little corner of our room.
