My Project

These materials will create an environment for my students that I strive to have for them. My area of learning is one in which my students already enjoy coming to, so I want to enhance their comfortability by making them feel as though they're in their second home, increasing their accessibility and making learning easier for them.

I want all of my students to feel special and to be seen and being a Title I school and working with a multitude of students, some being from migrant families, this project means more to me and them than I think is even able to put into words.

I thought to myself, "when I was in school, what would have made me feel special and enjoy learning?"

Having something as simple as a shelf will allow me to display their newly created reading books that I will be able to create using the binding combs and booklet material. While having a binding machine is great, material to create this personalized books, filled with their own work is necessary. Everything will be cohesively contained as a booklet, designated specially for each student.

I want my students to see the joy in school!
