My Students

I am a Kindergarten teacher of 18 very eager learners. They are "beautiful" students in every aspect of the word. Although their socio-economic backgrounds define them as high poverty, crime saddled urban setting, my students are still excited to learn. They love to question. They love to explore everything. To each and everyone of my students, it is still an amazing world. It is a world waiting for them to discover every nooks and corner. Their smiles are contagious. Their hugs are given freely.

"A great classroom is not just about learning, it is about creating memories." As their classroom teacher, I strive to create a learning environment steeped in structure and organization yet, warm and engaging.

A learning environment that would give us more time to create lasting memories of great lessons and creative adventures!

My Project

My project is a simple one: more storage space for our classroom means more time to use learning instead of looking for stuff. A durable bookcase that will last for a long time is an essential furniture need in our classroom. This will help the little hands to find learning materials easily. Labeled storage bins will help them be independent in getting and putting away learning materials in our classroom.

Lego building is a favorite activity and the table with Lego storage would come in handy for the little ones.

To tap this creative and imaginative minds and improve fine motor skills at the same time is a win-win for us all!
