Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Experiencing reading new genres is something I am happy to push my students to do each day. Many of the fantasy books on this list are part of a list of books students have requested. We are asking for multiple copies of each book, so we can expand book clubs beyond just a couple of friends. These books will be loved and appreciated as the newest part of our classroom library.

The words of an author can become the inspiration a student needs to write.

Fostering joy for reading is just the beginning. We hope our students will be excited to see their choices on our shelves!
