My Project

Investing in Social-Emotional Learning: A Schoolwide Initiative. My school started a mentoring program called G.L.O.W that meets bimonthy. It is designed to meet the needs of 5th grade girls at a vulnerable stage in life.

We aim to teach social emotional skills like confidence, good character, positive self talk, and healthy relationships.

This goal of this project is to provide each girl in our GLOW program with a copy of "BFF or NRF (Not Really Friends)," an interactive guidebook that addresses critical issues such as

• Navigating complex friendships

• Dealing with gossip and bullying

• Developing emotional intelligence

By investing in these resources, we're not just teaching academic skills, but preparing our students for real-world social challenges. This project aligns with our commitment to holistic education and fostering a positive learning environment. Your support can make a significant impact on these young minds.
