My Students

#ActuallyIcan - that's what we say every day! We're a Title one school striving to be leaders in all we do in and out of the classroom. We believe in ourselves, our future and our community.

We're the school that's come so far, in so few years!

From nearing priority status to becoming a proficient school, our students have a strong drive to be successful. We've made incredible gains in our academic performance, and want to see them continue.

My Project

There is just nothing like having a good book in hand, especially when you're reading it with friends! We need several copies of chapter books so we can read the same book at the same time, together!

Many of my students have PASSED their reading goals for 2nd grade and need more of a challenge.

Most of the chapter books in our school are being used my older students, and we need our own copies so we can join in the fun, too. Several of my students have expressed interest in participating in an after-school book club where we share our love for books, and grow together as great readers.

We will publish our book club reviews on SchoolTube!
