My Project
I want to give the kids an opportunity to hang out with their favorite book characters while in the library.
They will be able to pick a book character buddy to help them check out books, create in their stations, or read books while in the library.
I hope that the book characters will encourage discussions about books. I want them to ask who a character is, and encourage them to find the stories that star their new book character buddy.
They may be pre-k kiddos, but opening up the world of reading will help create a world where books are important and reading can take you anywhere.
