My Project

This project will allow my classroom partnership book library to be neat and organized so that students spend less time searching for books and more time reading! I will be able to organize books by both genre and authors so that students can easily locate the books they choose to read with their partners. It will also provide engaging literacy activities and social-emotional learning for gifted learners.

Having an efficiently organized classroom library will allow for more time spent discussing books and engaging in social-emotional learning.

Students will work with partners to choose a book to read, create a schedule, and then discuss deep and complex themes in the literature they have chosen. Setting up an organized library will give students easy access to these books. In addition, students will engage in complex projects to push and challenge their critical thinking skills.
