My Students
My students range in age from 6 to 7 years old, and they have a variety of ability levels and learning styles. Our learners come from a wide range of ethnic and cultural backgrounds and experiences.
Having a safe, fun, and comfortable place to come and learn is a top priority for me as their teacher.
Each and every day, my students enter the classroom ready to learn with big smiles on their faces. They are motivated to make each and every day a great day for themselves.
My Project
The book bins will allow my students to keep books on their own level organized and in an easy to get to place. This will help them become better readers and stay more focused during independent reading time. These bins will allow our class to have an organized classroom library and a place to keep our books. Having wonderful books that are organized and easy for the kids to get to will encourage my students to love reading. I want my students to love literature and love reading! We need book bins so that we can organize our library by genre and reading level to help students find their perfect book each week. My class needs these book bins to organize our library. We have many books to choose from, but it is sometimes hard for students to find the "right" book for them. They go to the bookshelf and spend a lot of precious time flipping through books to find one that is on their level and something they will enjoy.
