Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have spent much time dedicated to our classroom library and giving my students the opportunity to read and borrow as many books as they would like.

I want my students to see how books are magical.

Many of my students simply do not have access to books at home. I am asking for new reading books that my students would be interested in. These new books will add variation to our library and will be used both in the classroom and at home. The book baggies will allow the children to keep our books safe as they travel to their homes and back to our classroom.
