My Students

High school students still want to have fun with learning! Our students love to create, explore, and imagine! They appreciate opportunities that acknowledge their passions and allow for personal choice in their creations. They look for ways to connect with others and engage in positive learning experiences. Computer Science is a growing interest among many of our students and one they have started to investigate for career choices. It is exciting to see all of the different passions and interests they have surrounding this field.

My Project

In our library space we want to provide ALL students an opportunity to explore a variety of pathways, investigate individual interests, and build community. Our goal is to provide students the tools they need to spark their curiosity in a variety of ways. Creating with code is an opportunity students want to explore. We feel we can provide this opportunity through the use of the Sphero BOLT. This hands-on learning tech tool allows for learning progression from beginner to advanced creation. Sphero BOLTs are engaging, educational, and fun! They go beyond coding and incorporate robotics and collaboration among students.
