My Students

My students are middle school students who have a love of, and for, learning. I work with students who have a variety of career goals that range from an industry worker to a neurosurgeon. They are all unique, social beings who are striving to be promoted even with all the barriers they face. They come from a low-income/high poverty school district and need assistance. I want to provide my students with what is needed to ensure their success. This project will help with that.

My Project

Family engagement is an integral part of student success. Our parents and students need options to obtain important information and broadcast student accomplishments. We are asking for a television and cables to use in our school in order to display announcements and student achievements on the big screen. At our school entrance we can mount the television and provide the school community with various information through PowerPoint about our school and most importantly our students. I will also be requesting a mount for the television and a wireless keyboard with mouse that will make the television easy to use. Our school community could get great rewards from this opportunity.
