This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Boys and Girls track and cross country teams are always looking to overcome new obstacles and work hard to further themselves. The team is full of hard workers that strive to be the best young student athletes they can be. They share my excitement at the mentioning of what I am setting out to do for them.

The team is always looking to overcome new obstacles and push themselves farther than they could've ever imagined.

The kettle bells will help us in conditioning and strengthening our whole bodies in all events. The medicine balls and resistance bands will give the throwers an added resource to use for conditioning and drills. The mini hurdles and agility ladders to improve the student athletes speed, form, and acceleration.

This project would significantly help the track and xc team learn to think outside of the box in their workouts and create the opportunities that don't currently exist while encouraging them to be physically active, staying fit, and further their athletic progress after graduating.

With the materials from this project, I will be able to present athletes with a safe and fun way to complete a variety of new workouts to help them get stronger, faster, and more knowledgeable within our sports.
