My Students

Our wonderful and enthusiastic learners come from diverse cultural backgrounds including hispanic, native american, asian, native Hawaiian, african american, caucasion, and multi racial. Over 13 percent of our school population are English Language Learners and over 21% receive special education services.

Literacy, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies and the Arts are the heart and core of any well balanced education, as well as positive thinking and perseverance.

As a school community we strive to meet the educational and emotional needs of our learners.

My Project

Children are wonderfully unique, possessing different talents and having various needs. We continuously strive to meet their academic and emotional needs. To best achieve this we must also create the best physical environment for our student. The learning environment must represent the diverse needs of each student. Many children benefit from alternative and flexible seating. Standing desks, adjustable stools. wobble chairs and seats allow kids to find their comfort zone when working. They benefit both academically and emotionally from a workspace that is designed to provide them with physical comfort, allowing them to focus on their tasks and achieve greater success.
