Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Getting students to and from school safely is one of our top priorities. Our school currently services 350 students and is located in a previously rural area of our county that lacks proper sidewalks, speed bumps, etc., In order to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our car rider lane in the mornings and afternoons, we are submitting this project to purchase equipment to be used to ensure the safety of our students and staff members. Some of the safety items will include traffic safety cones, handheld stop signs, whistles, and safety vests. These items will guarantee a more secure and organized arrival and dismissal process for our car riders and their parents.
