Hello, I'm Sanaa Aslimi, a proud 4th-grade math and science teacher!
Just like you, I'm a devoted mother of three wonderful kids, and can't help but see the faces of my own children reflected in the eager eyes before me.
With each lesson, I teach my students the way I would want my own children to be treated—where their uniqueness is celebrated, their questions are valued, and their dreams are nurtured.
I've discovered a magical key to unlocking my students' potential: manipulatives. These hands-on tools transform abstract ideas into solid materials, fostering understanding in a way that resonates deeply, particularly for students with IEP or SPED needs. It's like witnessing a light bulb moment—a young mind illuminating with understanding.
Science and Math hold a special place in my heart. I'm nurturing a garden of budding scientists and future world leaders, cultivating a love for learning that I hope will bloom and thrive throughout their lives. Just like a gardener cannot work without their tools, I too need the proper material to help these young minds grow.
