My Project

What inspires children to open a new book? With my project, students will have the opportunity to read a diversity of books that not only teach them valuable skills as readers, but could inspire them to be authors one day. As a child I can remember always loving books, and I love instilling that same love for reading with my students each day.

Children love the excitement of a new book, whether it's a book jacket shielding the cover from curious readers or the different ways the illustrator uses pictures to bring the characters to life.

These books will not only inspire my students to read, but will guide their imagination into different stories around the world.
