Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are a great group of children. They are always eager to learn. They also have amazing potential. My school is located in a very rural area and all of the students in my school receive free breakfast and lunch. The children are also very kind and loving. All of my students have great manners and support systems at home.

My Project

We are not allowed to share materials in our Pre K classroom due to COVID. So as of right now, we are not able to provide the students with center time. I am trying to make sure all my students get to experience as much center time as possible.

The blocks that I have chosen will allow us to do block center at the table while social distancing.

By allowing the children to play with blocks at the table, they are building fine motor skills, growing their imagination, and developing their cognitive ability.
