This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Art-making is a core part of student learning at Sunset Park High School. Through art, we connect with our community and recognize all of the people who work to create a safe, healthy environment for us all. SPHS works closely with NYU Langone, which allows us to have a full-service health clinic in school for our students.

The materials requested will help us create hand-printed thank you cards using a highly engaging method called lego block-printing for the healthcare and essential workers of SPHS and the larger community.
