Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students love to build! They are so creative and build incredible structures. Our current block set is 18 years old and we had to remove several planks of wood due to splinters. We would love to be able to replace our current set of blocks for a safer option. The block sets that i have requested are essential for completing our block area play. We are also asking for the corresponding storage shelf.

Additionally, I have added a few sets that are wonderful for STEM related activities allowing us to ask open ended questions and for students to use critical thinking skills to determine cause and effect.

We would also love to replace some of our dress up clothing for the dramatic play area. Due to covid, we had to get rid of a lot of our previous dress-up items. The students really enjoyed them and so we would love to add new items for them to enjoy during work time.

We would also love to include a small Cricut Joy to create labels for our block area.
