Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our class is in need of a shelf to organize our blocks. We are required to have over 200 wooden blocks for children to use their imagination and build while they play. Although playing with blocks is fun, putting away all the blocks where they belong is a nightmare. This is because most blocks share the same space in our current shelf.

Block play is important in early childhood because it fosters creativity, problem-solving, social-emotional growth, fine and gross motor skills, while also supporting mathematical and language development.

This shelf will help my little learners put all the blocks where they belong, because each block will have a separate home.
