Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

At our school, we have a wonderful variety of learning styles, nationalities, and personalities. The one thing they all have in common is that they love learning and exploring.

The classroom environment and arrangement is very important.

A variety of materials are needed for the children to be able to carry out their visions. The classroom is always buzzing with activity and providing materials and support is the way to inspire our children to problem solve, role play, communicate, and develop the all important social emotional skills they will need as adults.

My Project

Children need a variety of open ended play materials to continue to spark new ideas. I like to be able to rotate the materials so they can constantly be changing and growing and learning through their play.

It is important to set up a classroom for maximized opportunities for higher order thinking skills.

This can only happen when children are challenged with different materials and play scenarios. Pre-k classrooms are very expensive to keep up. Many toys break and need to be replaced. Please help in keeping my classroom stimulating and up to date. All your efforts will be greatly appreciated.
